Happy Birthday Miss C!

We spent the weekend celebrating Miss C's birthday. My Mom and Dad came up to take her out for the day. Mom also made what Miss C thinks was, "the coolest cake ever." It was pretty cool. Thanks Mom!

Thanks MamaHen! I had looked at their backgrounds before and forgot about it, until I saw Sarah's yesterday over at Fosterland! It inspired me to go back and finish picking one!

This cake reminds me of the beautiful crocheted(?) lace dollies my grandma used to make for us girls. So pretty!

Happy Birthday Miss C! Two kisses from Iris and Lydia!

Hi from Hillsboro!

The cake is adorable. I was just telling someone the other day that my mom always wanted to make me a doll birthday cake just like yours. She finally did when I was about 14. It didn't have the same effect on me that it would have at C's age.

Saw you and the family pulling onto the church parking lot as we were leaving Sunday a'fore last. That's what we get for switching to early service! So sorry we missed you.

Karen-
That's so funny that you got a cake like that at 14! Patience is a virtue isn't it?

I wasn't sure if you figured out it was us at church or not! Bummed that we missed you too!

Oh, glad that you are enjoying the tabernacle study! That's the one you really wanted to do wasn't it? I think we may do it here in January because some women requested it at church. I have a few friends who are doing it as a blog study starting in a few weeks also. Enjoy, and good to hear from you!

By the way, I see that you are working on getting your blog going! Welcome to the blogosphere!
